Game Theory

General

Don't worry - this has zero relevance to the real world - you are not about to be out-manouvered in a complex negotiation by somebody using a game theory algorithm.

If you really want to know more there are a vast number of books and articles on this subject - probably written by nerds who thought they were going to use it to make a fortune on the stockmarket. They didn't.

Zero Sum Game

This is a game where the total amount of loot is fixed - so for you to gain, somebody else has to lose. Like land in the UK - the supply is fixed. Unlike Gibraltar where they keep creating it - usually right in front of the sea-front flat you have just bought. I nearly fell for this but not quite ...

That's it.
